Sharon co-founded BRIGHT PR in 1988 and today is Managing Director.
Sharon personally oversees all client activity at BRIGHT. A consumer specialist, she is known for her ability to get the job done effectively without fuss and is widely respected by journalists, colleagues and the PR profession in Scotland and beyond.
As a former member of the Institute of Public Relations Education Committee, Sharon McEwan is particularly committed to passing on best practice principals to junior staff in the industry.
A graduate of Birmingham Polytechnic, Sharon began her career in journalism working for local newspapers in Birmingham and Glasgow. She moved into PR in 1986 when appointed Press Officer for the Edinburgh Commonwealth Games. Formerly Senior Account Executive with one of Scotland's largest PR consultancies, Rex Stewart Public Relations .
